Midleton B 3 Tramore 3

Tramore’s U9 team travelled to Midleton for their Small Sided Games league match last weekend and partook in fantastic evening’s entertainment for all those lucky enough to witness the game. Despite the blustery and wet conditions high levels of skill, technique and passing were on view from both sides as the match flew from one end to the other with chances galore created by both sides.  Tramore found themselves one nil behind before Zach Burton was quickest to react in a busy penalty area and equalised for the visitors. Luke Burton added a second for Tramore and the heavy rain could not dampen Tramore's spirit as Cian McDubhgaill slotted home to make it 1 - 3 at the beginning of the third period. Tenacious defending by Taha Al-Salihi and brave goalkeeping by Conor Purcell kept Tramore ahead as full time approached however the home team scored two quick goals to make it all square. Cian McDubhgaill and Cathal Crowley were immense for Tramore and Tramore’s wingers Conor Foley and Fiachra O'Luanaigh created chance after chance for Tramore.
